I'd like to talk about the concerns some buyers have about the previous owners of a property purchased through power of sale or worse yet were grow ops and had illegal activities going on inside of them. I can reassure you that you do not have to be concerned about the previous owners in any circumstance. Simply put, when you take possession of this property, you take title of the property free and clear. The previous owners rights and responsibilities and connections are extinguished and you don't have to worry about that.
As for grow ops - people are worried that bikers are going to show up and start knocking on the door. But it really won't happen as the hallmark of grow ops is anonymity. When people are growing marijauna in their basement they want no one to show up as they are hiding what they are doing. Surprisingly a lot of these properties are in very nice neighbourhoods. The people running the grow op are gone and you have no need to worry about previous owners for any reason. |
